St. Anne Educate a Child Initiative Trust (SAECIT) seeks to support needy children from Lirembe village, Kakamega diocese in Kenya to acquire a Catholic Boarding Education from St. Anne’s - for girls, and St. Peter’s, for boys. SAECIT also supports other vulnerable children through Catholic or private day school.

Projects

To support these children and their families, SAECIT has encouraged parents to participate in income generating projects such as crop and animal husbandry, bead work and crafts, dress making, and motorcycle transportation system business.

  • We have a team back in Kenya. They get applications from students and they visit the homes to assess the level of need.

  • Lirembe is one of the villages in the western part of Kenya. It belongs to Kakamega diocese.

  • You can support in many ways:

  • SAECIT is registered in Kenya as an NGO Trust.

  • The Saint Mary of the Angels is our partner. All monies go to them and they submit the money to SAECIT.

  • Yes! Once you sent a check/cheque to St. Mary of the Angels, you will receive a letter of Tax exempt from our President, Paul Devitt. In Kenya, please contact our team:
